Diltiazem (Dilzem)



25 mg ou 0.25 mg/kg i.v. in 2 min, if needed 0.35 mg/kg after 15 min, then 5-15 mg/h i.v.c.


120-360 mg/day p.o.


  • Hypersensitivity to the active substance.
  • Cardiogenic shock.
  • Recent myocardial infarction with complications.
  • Decompensated heart failure.
  • Sick sinus syndrome.
  • Conduction abnormalities (sinoatrial block or atrioventricular the 2nd or 3rd degree.
  • Bradycardia (pulse rate less than 55 beats / min).
